This Privacy Policy explains how Companion Waves, developed and published by Angelo H. Melgazo, handles information when you use the Companion Waves app or visit this official website.
2. Data handled by the app
The current version of Companion Waves does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data or app-usage data with the developer. The app has:
- No user accounts or login.
- No advertising or advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs.
- No cloud database or developer-operated server.
- No location, contacts, photos, health, microphone, or camera collection.
3. Information stored on your device
App preferences—such as favorites and playback-related settings—may be stored locally in the app’s private container on your device. This information is used only to preserve your choices and is not sent to the developer.
You can change local preferences in the app. Deleting the app removes its active local container from the device, subject to any device backup or restoration services you separately control through Apple.
4. Audio and device connections
Companion Waves uses Apple’s audio system to generate and play sound, support background playback, and respond to audio-route changes such as a headphone or Bluetooth-device disconnect. The app does not record audio and does not collect the identity or history of your connected audio devices.
5. This website
This website does not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking, analytics tags, account systems, or contact forms. Standard technical request information may be processed temporarily by the hosting provider as necessary to deliver pages securely and protect the service.
6. Support email
If you email support, you voluntarily provide your email address, message, and any attachments or technical details you choose to include. That information is used only to answer your request, investigate the issue, maintain an appropriate support record, and comply with applicable law. Do not include passwords or sensitive health information.
Support correspondence is retained only as reasonably necessary for those purposes, then deleted or anonymized when it is no longer needed. You may request deletion of a support conversation by emailing jelo.mels@gmail.com. Legal or security obligations may require limited retention.
8. Children’s privacy
Companion Waves does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use of headphones and audio. If you believe a child sent personal information by support email, contact the developer to request deletion.
9. Your choices and requests
Because the app does not collect personal data, there is no app account or developer-held usage profile to access, export, correct, or delete. You control locally stored preferences through the app and device. For questions or a request concerning information sent by support email, contact the developer.
10. Changes to this policy
