Accessibility approach
Companion Waves aims to provide straightforward controls, readable information, meaningful labels, and compatibility with Apple’s built-in accessibility settings. Accessibility can vary by device, operating-system version, connected audio equipment, and the app version installed.
Audio-specific considerations
The core experience is audio-based. Binaural presets use different left- and right-channel tones, so the intended effect may be reduced or unavailable with Mono Audio, a single earbud, asymmetric hearing, certain hearing devices, or some assistive-audio configurations. Metronome content remains rhythmic audio and may be used differently depending on individual hearing.
Do not increase volume to compensate for an effect you cannot perceive. Review the Safety Guide for hearing and health precautions.
Apple accessibility settings
Your device may offer VoiceOver, Larger Text, Display & Text Size, Reduce Motion, Mono Audio, left-right balance, headphone accommodations, and other features under Settings → Accessibility. Some audio settings can intentionally change the binaural experience. Choose the configuration that is safest and most usable for you.

Include the app version, device and operating-system version, accessibility feature in use, the screen or control involved, and what you expected to happen.
